On Monday I saw a friend’s facebook status update. Hong Kong was about to endure some severe weather. Rush hour traffic was insane and people were seeking shelter anywhere they could. I thought back to my quick trip to the island before the end of my trip in Asia. The city’s millions of residents were so tightly packed all I could think was that gail force winds and a typhoon would disastrous.
From all the news that I’ve been keeping up to date on things turned out okay. The markets were slow to open in the morning but things are ticking on as usual with no real damage other than a few fallen trees and a landslide warning according to the BBC. I figured I would share a few shots from Hong Kong today because I’m thinking of them. To read the BBC’s report click here.
