EDIT//// Well, the grant was released and we weren’t in the lucky bunch of winners. Still planning on moving forward in the new year.
Internet friends, family, strangers, nature lovers, hikers, photographers, conservationists, and anyone else who knows someone who I may know!!!
STORYHIVE is giving away $10,000 to 30 female directors to make their short films into a reality. I’ve been working behind the scenes with my good friend Dwight on a pitch and the preliminary research to put together a short documentary on The History of Trail Building on Vancouver Island and I couldn’t be more excited to share it today.
We’ve gotten through the first round, of submissions and now we need all the votes we can get in the next four days. (You can vote once a day, and though I hate to be the one to ask for votes but, I really believe in what we are creating, and we are cautiously optimistic that we may actually have a chance!)
Please have a look at the pitch video (which I must thank Thanushi and Aaron for being an extra set of hands while we filmed it.) and get behind the project with a vote or two. –> http://www.storyhive.com/project/show/id/1718
